Adele is set to lose more weight as she embarks on new fitness plan that involves kicking unhealthy habits such as smoking while Rihanna is willing to forgive her abusive ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, as they collaborate on new songs together.
In light of Karl lagerfeld’s recent indiscretions regarding chart-topping singer, Adele’s weight, the reining queen of the ballads has reportedly started working out in an attempt to drop two dress sizes.
Famous for her curves and previously saying her weight has nothing to do with her career, the singer lost a few kilos and quit smoking when she underwent vocal chord surgery last year.
According The Sun Adele has been bitten hard by the fitness bug. “Adele has found so much more energy now she’s quit smoking. She really wants to get healthier, now that she’s halfway there,” said a source.
Apparently Adele has taken up Pilates and jogging and works out at home twice a week with a personal trainer. But don’t let her recent fitness regime has anything to do with her superstar image – the 23-year-old, to minimise any controversy over her newfound fitness obsession, has continued to lament to friends that it’s about being healthy, not about losing weight.
The Grammy winning singer has been very vocal about her curvaceous female figure in the past, saying she has no interest in being a “skinny mini”.
Do you think Adele has succumbed to recent pressure by the media, or is it a genuine health kick for her well-being?
Pop princess Rihanna has recently revealed she has forgiven her abusive ex Chris Brown, who is more famous for assaulting her before the Grammy awards in 2009, then his string of R&B hits, for the sake of her music career.
In two risky moves that may hinder Rihanna’s career rather then boost it; she has openly collaborated with her ex-boyfriend for two new tracks, her racy ‘Birthday Cake’ and his ‘Turn Up the Music’.
Many fans of the ‘We Found Love’ singer have been left completely puzzled and many rumours have sparked that the pair may eventually get back together. There has also been recent highschool to-ing and fro-ing in the twittersphere between Rihanna and Chris’ current girlfriend, little known Vietnamese model, Karrueche Tran.
Rihanna’s ex-record producer and rap superstar in his own right, Jay-Z is shocked and confused by Rihanna’s actions.
“Now that Rihanna is hooking up with Chris and recording songs with him, Jay is deeply disappointed in her actions. He can’t fathom why Rihanna is doing the things she is doing. He understands the need for forgiveness, but he is adamant that Rihanna shouldn’t forget what Chris did to her.”
Jay-Z is apparently worried about the message Rihanna is sending to her young fans by collaborating with Chris again.
But Rihanna, the biggest selling digital artist of all-time, defends says the decision to sing with Chris was easy because of his status in the R&B world right now. She spoke to US radio host, Ryan Seacrest about the two collaborations, saying: “That’s the only person that it made sense to do the record [with]. Just as a musician, despite everything else, that was going to be the person.”
“The hottest R&B artist out right now is Chris Brown.”
“You know it was a trade-off: one for his fans, one for my fans,” she said.
Despite having already collaborated with the top-selling artists like Jay-Z, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Calvin Harris and Coldplay, do you think Rihanna needs Chris Brown to boost her music career?
