Alex Perry releases his Autumn/Winter 2013 collection to an audience well-versed in his particular brand of opulence. The signature corsetry and decadent detailing are there of course. But this most recent offering contains several pieces that have a drama that takes a second or third look to really appreciate. The bold, angular lines of the ‘Electra’ dresses evinces a sharply modern vibe, whereas several of the lace pieces combine Sicilian sumptuousness with clever panels and frivolous peplums that result in a feminine, girlish aura.
Ranging from cocktail dress to ball gown, the collection has several options in each look, making it a refined, ornate and thoughtful range.
Oh, and totally expensive.
