Amanda Seyfried has been standing in the hollywood spotlight since her extraordinary performance in Les Miserables, so it’s no surprise that she has been chosen to team up with Parfums Givenchy to promote their new fragrance Simply Irresistible.
The beautiful blonde stars in films such as Mamma Mia!, Dear John and Letters to Juliet and has won our hearts with her charming grace and effortless elegance so we can’t wait to see her in the new campaign which will be launched in Spring.
As we all wait in anticipation for a new season of Australia’s Next Top Model, news broke this morning of drama on set. Our favourite fashion series is still in pre-production, but this salacious tidbit suggests that it will be every bit the dramatic competition we know and love.
Sources suggest that a problem inside the Sydney model house resulted in new host Jennifer Hawkins being forced to step in and eliminate a contestant due to bullying. Former host Sarah Murdoch famously encouraged a nurturing environment for the aspiring models, keen to keep the house as peaceful as possible. Has Hawkins bitten off more than she can chew by taking on 16 would-be models?
‘I don’t know why, but I went into (the show) thinking ‘oh, there won’t be drama, everything will be fine’, but of course there is always drama,’ Hawkins said in an interview with Confidential earlier this week. ‘A lot of things have happened in the house and we are dealing with something that hasn’t happened before.’
Whatever it is, we can’t wait to find out! We love a little model drama and can’t wait to see our favourite fashion expert Alex Perry in the new series.
In other fashion-related news, Katy Perry stepped out yesterday in a Vera Wang Gown that will live long in our collective fashionista memory. The singer has been taking on New York this week, galavanting about town and attending only the most glamorous of events.
Earlier in the week Perry attended Prada’s party for The Great Gatsby and last night the starlet teamed an appearance at the 2013 Blood Cancer Gala with a visit to Broadway where she saw the new musical Kinky Boots. The musical earned an incredible 13 Tony nominations earlier this week and it seems Perry was just as won over by the performance as the critics.
‘Just saw Kinky Boots on Broadway and cried with joy from its powerful, beautiful message,’ Perry tweeted. ‘If Billy Porter doesn’t win the Tony for best actor in a musical… There will be words…. Trust.’
