If the incredible Silver Linings Playbook left you wanting more of Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper together, we’ve got some seriously good news for you…
The trailer for David O’Russell’s follow-up to the Oscar-nominated Silver Linings, American Hustle, has been released and it shows each of these major celebs decked out in their 70s best.
In the film, Bradley Cooper and Christian Bale star as the men behind a series of high-profile robberies and Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence play their leading ladies. Given the 70s setting, it’s unsurprising that there’s a whole lot of dodgy hair, disco, and white powder and the film looks like a lot of fun.
We’ve still got a while to wait for the whole thing – this is a summer flick that will hit Aussie cinemas on January 16th 2014. In the meantime, grab the popcorn and watch the trailer a few times. You’ll be teasing your hair and getting ready to disco in no time.
Front Row at David Jones
Last night all eyes were on the gorgeous Jessica Gomes as she stepped on to the runway at the helm of David Jones for the retail giant’s Spring/Summer 13/14 launch. The model, who hails from Perth, has taken the reigns from Miranda Kerr and proved herself to be a worthy replacement, only making one small runway misstep when her heel got caught on a Camilla kaftan. Luckily, the one and only Camilla was on hand to dash up on stage and help her untangle and the moment was saved.

There were plenty of other big names on hand to watch Jess including Lara Bingle, Megan Gale, Elizabeth Dibicki, Isabelle Cornish, Rachael Finch, as well as Australia’s Next Top Model judges Charlotte Dawson and Alex Perry.
Speaking of, Australia’s Next Top Model alumni Montana Cox was also on hand to strut her stuff on the runway. We caught up with the lovely Montana ahead of the show. Watch the interview below.
Angelina Jolie in Sydney
Usually the arrival of Angelina Jolie in any country would not be without a major fanfare but this time it seems the star managed to slip through Sydney almost unnoticed.
The Daily Telegraph has reported that Jolie and her son Pax flew from Tokyo to Sydney, landed yesterday, and departed again around 8.30am this morning. The reason for the pair’s short visit? Still unknown but it does immediately follow the family’s vacation in Japan so perhaps it was nothing more than a quick stop over.
Ange, Brad, Pax and the twins have all been in Japan for the family vacay but the star-powered couple still managed to sneak in a little work — Brad promoted his latest film World War Z and Ange gave a speech about sexual violence in war zones at the UN University in Tokyo. No rest for the famous, right?!
