The American Music Awards for 2012 was on at LA’s Nokia Theatre last night with the biggest stars in the music industry all in attendance.
Usher opened the show followed by a stream of performers including Gwen Stefani and the guys of No Doubt, Kelly Clarkson, Ke$ha, Pink and Christina Aguilera.

Winner of the Favourite Female Country Artist Award, Taylor Swift performed her soon-to-be-released single “I Knew You Were Trouble.” She hit the runway in this stunning gold Zuhair Murad dress (below).
Teen sensation Justin Bieber came out on top taking out the big prize of Artist of the Year.
The 18-year-old beat out Rihanna, Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Drake who were also up for the top award.
Taking out three awards in total Bieber also hit the stage to perform his hit songs “As Long As You Love Me” and “Beauty and a Beat.”
