Today we’re dishing the beauty secrets of the stars. We’ve found the products Kim Kardashian and Kate Middleton are investing in and have a look at the nail polish shades the some stars have chosen for their red carpet appearances.
In other celebrity beauty news, we check out the new Thierry Mugler Angel Campaign featuring the one and only Eva Mendes and have a look at the star-studded initiative from Kiehls.
Kate Middleton’s Simple Secret
We know all too well that when you’re onto something good in beauty, you don’t give it up for anything. It seems that’s a rule Kate sticks by too, the Princess was spotted buying Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Light Moisturising Day Cream in London!
Kate is a woman with access to just about anything she desires yet she decided to stick with a $12.99 tub of moisturiser from beauty staple Nivea, if that isn’t a sign of a great product, we don’t know what is.
Kim Kardashian’s Skin Saviours
Bride-to-be Kim is rarely spotted looking anything less than glowing so what is it that keeps her skin looking so amazing? Hollywood favourite Rodial.
The reality star opts for the glamoxy snake mask twice a week for a seriously deep cleanse and tough exfoliation and glamtox night gel is her potion of choice for fighting the signs of ageing, she credits it as her overnight facial in a jar.
If it’s good enough for diva Kim, it’s good enough for us!
Eva Mendes for Thierry Mugler’s Angel
The new Thierry Mugler Angel campaign was unveiled at the IAC Building in New York City last week. Eva Mendes is the face of the huge campaign and showed up to the event looking incredibly glamorous and, well, angelic in a custom made strapless, white Mugler dress adorned with a wing tipped bustier and three sparkling silver stars on the hip. Her stunning silver Sobek Christian Louboutin peep-toes were the perfect finishing touch.
Naomi Watts, the previous face of the fragrance, made an appearance in an understated, sophisticated black pant suit to pass the beauty baton to Eva.
Iconic New York skincare masters Kiehl’s have announced a global initiative to promote philanthropy around the world and have secured stars Julianne Moore, Pharrell Williams and The Scissor Sisters to partner in the project.
To give things a good start, Kiehl’s have pledged $160,000 for three causes; Children’s, Environmental and HIV/AIDS issues, across twenty-four different charities.

OPI on the red carpet
OPI is the brand with every colour nail polish you can dream of and more so it’s no great surprise that the celebs turn to them when in need of specific colours to complement their red carpet gowns.
Last week at the True Blood Season Four premiere night, Anna Paquin was spotted wearing OPI’s Light My Sapphire on her talons while husband and co-star Stephen Moyer stood by her side.
Dancing with the Stars contestant Haley Bracken has confessed to being a bit of an OPI addict and recently used the black shatter topcoat from the brand on top of colour ‘Princesses Rule’.
