Hamish and Andy GQ Men of the Year 2013
Last night Sydney’s Ivy Ballroom attracted a flood of local celebs who had gathered to celebrate the GQ magazine’s annual Men of the Year event during which Australia’s most celebrated entertainers are honoured for their contribution.
After stars like Curtis Stone, the Stenmark twins, Cheyenne Tozzi, Gracie Otto, and Nicole Trufino walked the black carpter and headed in to the ballroom, the winners of the night were announced.
Comedy duo Hamish Blake and Andy Lee took out the big one, being named 2013’s Men of the Year, and joked to the Daily Telegraph, “We were very honoured to be included in the awards. After both missing out on the Brownlow this year, we had every reason to think we’d miss out on GQ too.”
Hamish’s pregnant wife Zoë Foster-Blake was there to show her support,
Jess Hart, fresh off the Victoria’s Secret runway and likely still recovering from whiplash after the abrupt about-face taken regarding some comments made about Taylor Swift, accepted the Woman of the Year honour and said, “I feel so humbled — it’s so nice to be recognised at home,”. Sister Ashley Hart was on hand to help 27-year-old Jess celebrate.
Jack Thompson took to the stage to grant the Icon of the Year award to Russell Crowe, while the Legend of the Year honour was bestowed upon Jimmy Barnes. Other winners included Dion lee (Fashion Designer), Ben Quilty (Artist of the Year), Curtis Stone (Creative Force of the Year), and Jarrod Scott (Man of Style).
Kanye’s Latest Video Starring Topless Kim
Last night we headed to Sydney’s Park Hyatt for an intimate cocktail with Khloe Kardashian for the Kardashian Kollection launch, while in the States another Kardashian was about to steal the spotlight thanks to a controversial video reveal…
The video in question is Kanye West’s latest, and stars a very topless Kim (albeit silhouetted to keep it at least a little clean) and riding a motocycle with her fiancée.
Thirty-six-year old West debuted the clip for his track Bound 2 on The Ellen Show and immediately Twitter was alight with largely-negative comments on the clip which sees the pair riding along time-lapsed, hyper-colour American terrains, and making the most of every bump in the road.
During the interview, which accompanied the controversial video debut, Ellen asked Kanye whether he is worried about his 5-month-old daughter being exposed to the explicitness of his music (this particular track features lyrics like, “I wanna f— you hard on the sink. After that get you something to drink”) to which he responded, “I’m not concerned about the idea of profanity and nudity. It’s more of the messaging behind it. She’s gonna be in the real world, she’s gonna hear things and see things. I think she’s gonna be prepared for them.”
West also gushed about both Kim and their daughter North.

Kelly Clarkson Pregnant
Just one month after walking down the aisle, Kelly Clarkson has announced that she is expecting her first child! The adorable pop star tweeted, “I’m pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever.”
Kelly and Brandon, a talent manager, married in a small ceremony in Tennessee just last month. The pair were dating for a year before Brandon, who has two children from a previous marriage, popped the question in December 2012.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
