Victoria’s Secret Ditches Jessica Hart
Jess Hart has learnt the hard way that when it comes to the media, you can never, ever eat your words…
The Aussie model recently made headlines after she said Taylor Swift wouldn’t pull if off as a lingerie model. When WWD asked the question at the after party for the Victoia’s Secret show, Hart responded, “No… God bless her heart. I think she’s great… But I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit.”
After the story went viral, 27-year-old Hart did a a bit of a backflip, telling US Weekly, “I adore Taylor Swift and I was so excited to be with her at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show… She is a true rock star and she absolutely killed it the other night.”
But it seems it was a case of too little too late as source have told Page Six Victoria’s Secret are so furious that they won’t be inviting Hart to walk in next year’s show, nor will she been seen in any of the brand’s catalogues.
Neither party have confirmed or denied the rumours, but if it is true it’s going to be a huge disappointment for Hart. Not only is the VS gig one of the most coveted in the world, it’s also one of the most lucrative.
Only time will tell whether the rumours are true but, as they say, where there’s smoke there’s fire!
Miranda Kerr Most Binged Celebrity
Miranda Kerr has officially been granted the most ‘Binged’ Aussie celebrity for the third year running. It’s really of little surprise, in fact perhaps the most surprising thing about this story is that Google hasn’t completely eradicated every other search engine out there, but it does show Kerr’s incredible influence in our nation.
The model, who is rumoured to be dating James Packer, came ahead of Kevin Rudd, Tony Abbott, Julia Gillard and Shane Warne who rounded out the top five.
When it comes to songs, it seems a controversial video can land you in the top five just as easily as a great tune. Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines took out the number one position, followed by Katy Perry’s Roar (which caught the attention of PETA) and, of course, Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball.
When it comes to TV, it seems us Aussies love reality. Big Brother was number one most searched, with X Factor and The Voice (which will be back and better than ever with a new celebrity mentor in 2014) both appearing in the top five.
Unsurprisingly (albeit somewhat sadly) Miley Cyrus Twerking made it to the top five most Binged news stories, but thankfully did not take the first place (the Royal Baby’s birth nabbed that one).
Alicia Keys Partners with Kiehl’s
Alicia Keys showed off her incredible talent at the ARIA Awards this past Sunday night, and now she’s announced another association with Australia. The gorgeous star and Keep a Child Alive, the charity organization she co-founded in 2003, are partnering with Kiehl’s Australia to donate 100% of proceeds of its Limited Edition Midnight Recovery Concentrate to bring dignified treatment, care and support to children and families affected by HIV.

Supportive partners like Kiehl’s are part of our extended family. They share a passion for bringing dignified treatment, care and support to children and families affected by HIV. Every action, big or small, can make a difference and take us one step closer in making health care a human right.”
