Stars including Kate Bosworth, Serena Williams, Rachel Zoe and Rose Huntington-Whiteley stepped out last night for the Burberry Body fragrance launch in LA. We check out how it all unfolded.
Kim Kardashian and her new husband Kris Humphries have been no strangers to divorce rumours and now the couple have admitted their relationship is strained.
Kate Middleton had her first solo Royal engagement this week and, naturally, impressed the Royals and charmed the guests. Read on for all the details.
Burberry Body Launch
Burberry spokesmodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley appeared at the Beverly Hills Burberry boutique last night wearing a form-fitting champagne satin frock to celebrate the launch of the new fragrance, Body.
The gorgeous Brit was joined by Burberry’s chief creative officer Christopher Bailey who told style.com, “Rosie was the obvious choice to represent Burberry Body. She’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known!”
Kate Bosworth was also in attendance wearing head-to-toe Burberry and cuddling up to her director boyfriend Michael Polish. The pair looked very cosy and in love.
Solange Knowles was the DJ for the party, playing old-school Motown all night.
Lily Alderidge, Rachel Zoe, Serena Williams and Jayma Mays were also in attendance on the night.
Kim Kardashian’s Marital Woes
We watched Kim’s fairytale wedding unfold and took in the beauty of it all but there was definitely something missing. The whole thing felt staged and simply didn’t leave us with the blurry eyes and goosebumps that Khloe and Lamar or Kate and Prince William’s nuptials did.
Since that time rumours of cheating allegations, an impending divorce and more have been circulating consistently and now the pair have freely admitted it’s not exactly paradise.
Kim told PEOPLE their living situation in New York was, “not ideal”, saying that living with Kourtney, Scott Disick and Mason was a strain on their marriage, “because you’re newlyweds and you want privacy.”
With Kim and Khloe headed to Australia to promote the Kardashian Kollection and Kim having extended her stay to attend Emirates Stakes Day, we’re wondering will this time apart only put a bigger wedge between the pair.
Kate Middleton First Solo Royal Engagement
Prince Charles was due to host a black-tie dinner at Clarence House in London in aid of In Kind Direct, a charity the Prince set up in 1996. When Charles was called to fly to Riydah to present condolences to the Saudi Royal Family, it was Kate Middleton who stepped in and saved the day.
The gorgeous Duchess of Cambridge was reportedly delighted to have the honour and made sure to make the Royal family proud.
Wearing a vintage silver evening gown by Amanda Wakeley, she made her way around the Garden Room chatting to guests before leading them through to the dining room.
A palace aide told media, “The Duchess had a little big of time beforehand to prepare for the engagement—it all went very well. She was so pleased that her first solo engagement was for the Prince of Wales, who has shown her so much support over the years,” going on, “She was completely natural, professional and charmed everyone. She spoke to every single guest and was genuinely interested, and interested in continuing to help.”
