We’ve got a bit of a mixed bag of celeb goss for you today!
First up, the Duchess of Cambridge has been attending a very exclusive princess school. We find out what exactly goes on at a real school for princesses.
After thirty years together, legends of rock R.E.M have split and in other music related news, rapper Kanye West is reportedly dating an Aussie girl while Gwyneth Paltrow might be making her own musical movie with Glee boss Ryan Murphy. Read on for all the details.
Princess School for Kate
Since their North American tour, Prince William and wife Kate Middleton have been keeping a low profile and now we know why. Duchess Catherine is reportedly attending a private princess school with experts on government, the arts and the media visiting St James’s Palace for one-on-one tutorials. The lessons 
intend to teach Kate about how to handle a life of royal duties.
Allegedly, Prince William is all for the lessons as he doesn’t want Kate to have to endure the same stress his mother Princess Diana did after marrying Prince Charles.
It’s the End of R.E.M As We Know It (and they feel fine)
After thirty years together creating classic hits such as, 
‘Everybody Hurts’, ‘Losing My Religion’ and ‘Out of Time’ R.E.M have called it quits. The band issued an official statement this week announcing their split, saying, “To our Fans and Friends: As R.E.M., and as lifelong friends and co-conspirators, we have decided to call it a day as a band. We walk away with a great sense of gratitude, of finality, and of astonishment at 
all we have accomplished. To anyone who ever felt touched by our music, our deepest thanks for listening.”
The band released fifteen albums in total, six of which went platinum.
Kanye West Down Under Dating
First it was the Jonas brothers, now Kanye West is falling for an Aussie girl! The rap superstar has been linked to local model Cheyenne Tozzi who he met at a party in New York. Tozzi has been linked to actor Mickey Rourke and oil heir Brandon Davis previously while Kanye has been a bit of a ladies man since his split from Amber Rose last year and has been spotted with the likes of Mary-Kate Olsen.
Tozzi told the Daily Telegraph the pair had been “hanging out” and called Kanye, “a sweetheart” but did not directly admit to a blossoming romance, saying simply, “We hang out. He’s a cool dude.”
We’ll see where this one goes!
Gwyneth to Star in Musical Movie
Gwyneth Paltrow’s appearance on Glee is certainly paying off. It earned her an Emmy this week and may have landed her a movie deal! The 38-year-old star is in talks with Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy about doing a movie musical together.
The pair worked together on the film Running with Scissors five years ago where they formed a relationship and when asked at the Emmys if he will be working with Gwyneth again, Murphy replied, “We want to do a musical together. An original—I want to write an original movie for Gwyneth and Maya Rudolph, both of whom I’m great friends with. That’s all I will say.”
