Kardashian Klan Expanding Again
Rumours have been circling that Kourtney may be pregnant and just yesterday in the US, it was officially announced that Kourtney Kardashian and her partner of five years Scott Disick are expecting their second child.
The pair made the official announcement to US Weekly in an exclusive cover story.
Kourtney, 32, told the magazine that she took a pregnancy test about five weeks ago and rushed to wake Scott up at 7am to let him know. She said, “Now I’m nine weeks along. You’re supposed to wait 12 weeks to tell people but I feel confident.”
Mason, 2, was a bit of a surprise for the couple but this pregnancy is not so much. Scott told US, “It wasn’t like we weren’t trying. We just kind of said, if it’s meant to be, it’ll be.”
It’s pretty perfect timing for the gorgeous Mum who just started a web series called, ‘Kourtney’s Mommy Blog’ on E! Online where she shares her parenting philosophy, pregnancy tips and more.
Congrats to the ever-expanding Kardashian Klan!
Amy Winehouse Dress Sells at Auction
The dress Amy Winehouse wore on the cover of her ‘Back to Black’ album has sold under the hammer for 43,200 pounds. It had been estimated the frock would fetch between 10 and 20 thousand pounds so this was a welcome surprise.
Thai designer Disaya was responsible for the chiffon-print dress that was sold as a part of the ‘Passion For Fashion’ auction yesterday. If you’re wondering who would possibly spend that much on a dress, it was in fact a fashion museum based in Santiago, Chile and all the proceeds will go to the Amy Winehouse foundation and the family of the late singer.
Amy’s father Mitch was in attendance at the London auction and said, “We want to give money to projects that make a direct difference. It is a source of great comfort to know that Amy would be proud of this and right behind it. Obviously we want to try and raise money for the family and the grandchildren so that they will be able to be helped by Amy too in the years to come so that was very important. We all need to survive.”
At the same auction, the ivory-coloured lace garment Audrey Hepburn wore in Roman Holiday and had adapted to wear when she collected her Best Actress Oscar was expected to sell for somewhere between 40 and 60 thousand pounds but did not attract any bids whatsoever.
It was clearly a day of surprises for London’s Kerry Taylor Auctions.
