Yasmin Le Bon Talks Success
There are more than a few models and actresses who could take a leaf out of Yasmin Le Bon’s book! The model credits her long-term success with not over-exposing herself when she was younger.
At 47-years, Le Bon is still very much in demand and believes that is due to her taking time off from the industry when she had her three daughters as people didn’t get bored of her. She told vogue.co.uk : “When models manage their career, as all girls should, they should be aware of what they are doing in all territories – how much they’re being seen. Linda [Evangelista] said to me, ‘You should never do more than two campaigns in any territory – if you do five one season in Italy, you won’t work there for years’. I was lucky because I was married, I had kids; I always had a reason to take it easy, to take time off – maybe that’s why I’m still working now.”
Yasmin also revealed how she doesn’t like to change her wardrobe throughout the year and likes her clothes to be transeasonal. She said: “I find that my wardrobe is like that anyway. I don’t have a summer wardrobe or a winter wardrobe. I just wear the dress I want to wear that day – and if it’s cold I’ll throw on a coat.”
