Lea Michele Back to Work
Lea Michele would absolutely be forgiven if she were never to return to the set of Glee again after the death of her co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith. But the brave starlet, who recently broke her silence following the tragedy, has proved what she’s made of and has returned to work already, just weeks after Monteith’s tragic death.
The star tweeted today saying, “First day of glee today..And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I’ve missed her so much.”
Glee executive producer Kevin Reilly recently said Michele, “has been the most extraordinary human being and a pillar of strength throughout all of this — she was the first person to say ‘I want to go back to work’” and now she’s proved it to be true.
Reilly has also spoken out about Monteith and his nature, he said, “You see some people struggling with addition; it’s clear. They’re very easily put into a category. ‘He was dark, she was always a partier.’ Cory was a big, open wonderful life force. He was not a problem. Everyone loved him. He didn’t look like that; he looked straight as an arrow. He was very open about it in his past, not as open about it in his present. It was an accident that happened to somebody struggling with an addiction.”
Amanda Bynes Ordered to Stay in Psychiatric Ward
After a court appearance in front of a judge on Thursday, Amanda Bynes bid to be released from the psychiatric ward she is in was shut down and the star was deemed unable to care for herself.
The star, who is just 27, was put on a 5150 psychiatric hold 10 days ago after a fire-starting incident. Although she was originally only required to be assessed for three days, medical experts asked a judge to keep her inside for an additional two weeks for further analysis. It is said she is responding well to medication and people close to her are concerned she is showing signs of being schizophrenic.
Mother Lynn, who recently spoke out about her daughter, is said to concerned that Amanda won’t be responsible with medication should she be granted freedom from the hospital.
