His was the flirty lace and vivid colour, scattered about with flowers for the runway, to evoke the essential, joyous Frenchness of Ungaro’s glory days – no heart-shaped pasties attached.
Catching up with the waves created by the LiLo incident is no small task and M·A·C’s Miranda Joyce’s make-up reflected the new battle attitude.
“The makeup is strong, but the glossy eye and mouth give the look a softness and luminosity,” she said.
“It’s a ’70s take on ’30s makeup – a bit decadent but flawlessly polished and sophisticated.”
To get the look:
Eyes:
1. She mixed Silver Metal Pigment mixed with Gloss Texture and patted them on the eyelid from lash to brow and delicately under the eyes.
2. Joyce smudged Smolder Eye Kohl – along the top and bottom lash lines with a 219 brush.
3. Plushblack Plush lash Mascara was combed on top and bottom lashes.
Lips:
1. Joyce mixed Diva and Film Noir Lipsticks and applied the colour with a brush to create a deep, perfect lip.
2. She then dappled Smolder Eye Kohl into the centre of the lips and blended it out to give them extra depth.
3. Joyce added Gloss Texture on top of the lipstick for a lacquered finish.
Face:
Joyce used Studio Sculpt Concealer where needed.
