The role personal technology plays when it comes to fitness has changed the game, as apps and devices help us stay active while in lockdown. Whether you’re sharing your daily workout stats with your friends and family on social media or using an app that allows you to work out anywhere anytime, tracking and measuring fitness has never been easier and now even better. This week Apple has announced that they are expanding their fitness+ which will be available to 15 new countries while offering a broader range of programs and tools to keep their users active.

In an expansion of their offering, Fitness+ has targeted workout programs for pregnancy, for older adults, beginners and even workouts to get ready for the snow season, all to keep users moving and helping them to live a healthier lifestyle, as Jay Blahnik Apples Senior Director of Fitness Technologies states Fitness+ is for everyone, “whether you’re just getting started, trying something new or switching up how you train your mind and body the amazing and welcoming team is here to help users live a healthy lifestyle no matter where they are in their fitness journey.” The expansion will include Pilates, Guided Meditation, Group Workouts with Shareplay and Artist spotlight and Time to Walk.
