Nothing says springtime quite like florals and Rebecca Vallance’s Parisian-inspired take on the classic print adds a sophistication to the classic print that has left us yearning for the warmer months ahead.
For her Spring/Summer 2013/14 collection, aptly named ‘Paris au Printemps’, Vallance looked to the first blooms of springtime and the streets of Paris for inspiration, while still staying true to her Australian heritage and tailored-yet-feminine aesthetic. Think ladylike dresses, pussy bow blouses, delicate geomtric prints, neutrals contrasted by pops of bright colour, and clever variation on materials that both compliment and contrast one another.
