Sandra Bullock Lands in Sydney
Oscar-award-winning Sandra Bullock landed at Sydney airport today ahead of the premier of her latest film The Heat. The 48-year-old star was the very definition of jet-set chic in an all-black ensemble, stylish glasses, minimal makeup, and hair far from the frazzled, humidified mess an international flight usually results in.
After arriving at her hotel, Bullock did what every visiting celeb does and rugged up to head out on a luxury boat tour of Sydney Harbour.
Tonight the actress will get frocked up for a red carpet event at Event Cinemas, George Street where her new cop comedy will debut. In the film Bullock plays an uptight FBI agent who is partnered by a rough Boston cop as played by Melissa McCarthy.
After the event, it’s expected Bullock will rush back home to be back by her three-year-old son Louis’ side.

Brosnan released a statement today saying, “On June 28 at 2pm, my darling daughter Charlotte Emily passed on to eternal life, having succumbed to ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by her husband Akex, her children Isabella and Lucas and her brothers Christopher and Sean. Charlotte fought her cancer with grace and humanity, courage and dignity. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beautiful dear girl. We pray for her and that the cure for this wretched disease will be close at hand soon. We thank everyone for their heartfelt condolences.”

Alicia Silverstone’s Milk Share Initiative
Alicia Silverstone, who is known for her staunch veganism and odd feeding antics, is launching a new initiative, called Kind Mama Milk Share, which encourages other vegan mothers to share their breast milk. The Clueless star wrote on her blog, “Because we are a community of beautiful souls who recognise the importance of food as health, I say we help support those mamas and babies who need a hand during one of the most important times in their lives.” She continues, “If you have milk to share – post it! If you are in need of milk – post it! Think of all the babies we can help raise together!”
What do you think – creepy or a positive initiative?
