It’s all about love, marriage, and family in the world of celebrity news today! The Bachelor handed out his final rose last night, Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are engaged, and Chris Hemsworth has confirmed some very exciting news.

The Bachelor 2013 Winner Announced
Last night this year’s Bachelor, Tim Robards, handed his final rose to 26-year-old Sydney lawyer Anna Heinrich last night after an edge-of-the-seat series.
For the final episode, Anna, Tim, and the runner-up, 27-year-old Perth model Emanuel-Smith stayed in Phuket, Thailand where they had the undeniably scary task of meeting Tim’s family including his psychologist mother Tanya.
When it was time for the final dates, Tim chose to tale Anna sailing through the picturesque Phuket, and Anna gave Tim a box of cards with things she loved about Tim. He said, “It was one of the nicest things anyone had ever done for me.”
Although Rochelle didn’t walk away with the ring, she did get to experience a pretty incredible date. Tim took her on an elephant ride along the shore, with a walk through the jungle to follow.
With the final dates said and done, Tim told the world, “I’ve found the woman of my dreams… I have searched my heart and I know there is only one girl I can’t live without.” In the closing scene, he told Anna he was, “madly and deeply in love with her.”
Anna and Tim are now free to go out in public after nine weeks concealing their relationship and fighting rumours that Tim had reunited with his ex-girlfriend. Anna told news.com.au, “He’s not getting back with his ex, we’re still together, and no, he didn’t dump me so back off or I’ll have to karate chop you.”
“We both see a future together and are just so relieved we can get on with it (openly) now.”
Congratulations to Anna and Tim and good news for us — The Bachelor will be returning next year for another series!
Adam Brody and Leighton Meester Engaged
When we heard that two of our all-time favourite teen drama characters had started dating, we were sure it was too good to be true, but in February this year Leighton Meester and Adam Brody went public with their relationship and our hearts just about exploded.
Now, all reports are saying that the surprisingly private and low-key Blair and Seth, ahem Leighton and Adam, are engaged!
The couple, who met on the set of the 2011 film The Oranges in 2011, have, according to PEOPLE, confirmed that they are headed down the aisle, much to the delight of fans.
Funnily enough, Leighton, 27, and Brody, 33, are set to star in upcoming comedy Life Partners together.
Congratulations to the adorable pair.
Chris Hemsworth Expecting
Aussie actor and Thor star Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky are expecting!
A rep for the cute couple confirmed the news to PEOPLE. This will be the pair’s second child together, and a little brother or sister to their adorable 1-year-old India Rose.
Hemsworth, who is currently soaking up the good times with both this news and a number 2 at the Australian box office for Thor, has proved himself to be one of this year’s cutest celebrity Dads. He recently told PEOPLE of his daughter, “She’s the best! It makes it harder and harder to leave and go to work. I enjoy being at home a lot more than I ever have.”
