Brangelina, the couple behind the coining of couple-combo- names, are no more.
Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt. According to her lawyer, her reasoning is due to “irreconcilable differences”.

The couple have been together since 2004 (they met during filming on set for Mr. and Mrs. Smith, which was released in 2015), however only made their relationship official by marriage in August of 2014.
Together they have six children – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, who are adopted, and biological children Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne. According to sources, Angelina is filing for physical custody of all six children and is asking the judge to give Brad visitation rights.

Shortly after the news broke of their divorce, rumors have been released that Brad Pitt reportedly had an affair with Marion Cotillard. The two are currently co-starring in a new film, Allied.

Angelina hired a private investigator to keep an eye on Brad and Marion on set, as she suspected he had been involved with inappropriate behavior behind scenes. According to sources, Pitt and Cotillard were caught and that was her final straw in their crumbling relationship.
September 15th marks the official date of their separation according to signed paperwork.
