Cara Delevingne is the face of the new Burberry Body Tender, Nicki Minaj fires her styling team and Keith Haring’s limited edition perfume designes for DKNY.
If you thought the DKNY Delicious fragrance (the ultimate fragrance for day-wear and New York style sophistication) couldn’t get any more iconic, get a load of the limited edition collection inspired by the art of another icon, Keith Haring.
Rescu. loves a beauty and artist collab and not only does this design emulate the quirky-cool styling of Donna Karan and Keith Haring but the figures denote an underlying message – which always adds a little heart to a product. The statement art suggests “Art for Everyday. Art for Everyone,” so you get a sense (or scent) of unity from the apple shaped bottle marked with Haring’s iconic shapes and figures.
We have a feeling Carrie Bradshaw would be all over this one.
Keith Haring Art by DKNY will be available on the 10th March 2013 at Myer and David Jones stores nationally in DKNY Be Delicious Art, Fresh Blossom Art and Golden Delicious Art RRP: $95
Despite her collaborations with makeup colour queens, MAC, calling her fans ‘Barbies’ and her larger then life videos, pop star/ rapper/ American Idol judge, Nicki Minaj has pulled the plug on her over the top makeup, hair and styling to return to her natural roots (pun intended).
With a beauty look on par with Lady Gaga and the like, the diva singer has, sacked her “glam squad”, the team responsible for her weird and wonderful makeup looks for events and shows.
According to The Sun, “She’s fired her long-standing hairdresser who has been responsible for some of her crazy hairstyles over the years. She’s also fired her stylist. Nicki feels that now she’s done with American Idol she can finally be taken seriously and release a proper hip-hop album.”
“Nicki is desperate to be taken seriously as an artist.”
So, what do you think? Should the singer continue to be a showstopper, or do you think the natural look is more appealing?
Love her or don’t quite understand the buzz, model of the moment, Burberry babe, Chanel darling and Jeremy Scott star, Cara Delevigne is now the face of Burberry’s new fragrance, Burberry Body Tender.
Cara featured in her first Burberry campaign in 2011 and has since been the face of Burberry Beauty, regularly appearing on the Burberry runway and in Burberry campaigns.
“Burberry Body was always about creating something that captures all the different characteristics of the Burberry girl. With Body Tender, we wanted to explore and bring out the softer, more playful sides of her – capturing this light femininity in the scent as well as the campaign,” said Burberry Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey.
Shot on the River Thames in London, by photographer Mario Testino under the creative direction of Christopher Bailey, watch the tom-boy stunner get girly in the campaign.
