The treatment is administered after numbing cream is applied to the face and works by penetrating the top layer of skin via microscopic columns. The skin wounding kicks in the skin’s repair and renewal process bringing dead skin cells to the surface, boosting collagen production, and eventually revealing beautiful, soft, and juicy skin .
We experienced the treatment at All Saints Clinic in Double Bay, Australia’s premier skin clinic. After a thorough consultation, and application of numbing cream 30 minutes prior to the treatment, the Clear & Brilliant procedure takes about 30 minutes. This is not a lunchtime treatment as you will definitely see and feel a change. The treatment, even with numbing cream is uncomfortable, and you will have bright red skin resembling severe sunburn, for about 24 hours.
Over the coming week, we saw the skin undergo a healing process where the treated area eventually settled down, skin peeled and beautiful fresh skin was revealed. The redness and discomfort is real, but it’s very manageable. After a week, beautiful baby soft skin is yours, fine lines have vanished and the complexion is dewy and full of life once more. Longer-term, collagen and hyaluronic acid levels are boosted and after about 4 weeks, our skin continued to get better and better.
