Jessica Gomes for David Jones
On Saturday Jessica Gomes arrived at Sydney airport looking impressively fresh after a stint in Los Angeles.
The Australian Sports Illustrated model was coming home to prepare for her first David Jones collection show as ambassador. She’s got some big shoes to fill — the ambassador role was previously filled by arguably one of Australia’s most famous faces Miranda Kerr — but after talking to her backstage today we think she’s more than ready for the job!
Gomes will share the runway with Montana Cox and Samantha Harris amongst others. The models will be wearing poolside-perfect pieces from Aussie designers including Willow, camilla and marc, Jets, Isola by Megan Gale, Alex Perry, and Collette Dinnigan.
Menswear ambassador Jason Dundas will be notably absent from the show as he had to pull out due to a scheduling conflict but twins Jordan and Zac Stenmark will be there to bring in the man power!
Check out all our happy snaps from backstage and the dress rehearsal at David Jones Spring/Summer Fashion Show.
Justin Timberlake’s New Clip
Justin Timberlake’s latest clip has been revealed! The super star has released the first single from his new album The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2. It’s called ‘Take Back the Night’ and in true JT style it is the perfect tune to dance the night away to and has a bit of a Michael Jackson vibe to it.
And the clip itself? It’s a mix of scenes of JT moving from the streets of New York’s Chinatown into a nightclub and the whole thing is spliced with live footage from one of his shows. Don’t be surprised if it feels familiar – it was directed by The Uprising Creative who also directed Alicia Keys ‘Girl on Fire’ and Ke$ha’s ‘Die Young’.
But enough from us… watch the clip below
So You Think You Can Dance is Back!
Today Network Ten have confirmed that it will be bringing back one of our favourite reality shows…
Next year, So You Think You Can Dance will be back on our screens! The series ran on 10 from 2008-2010 before being dropped for the development of an original dance reality show (SYTYCD was a copy of the Emmy Award winning production in the US) called Everybody Dance Now. As any TV watching individual knows, this was a huge mistake as the show was axed after just a few episodes, proving itself no match for the popular So You Think You Can Dance.
As the show returns, it will have a new host and judges. Watch the teaser below.
