Pop Danthology 2013 Lands
Every year since 2010 Daniel Kim has been releasing his ‘Pop Danthology’ – an extremely well put together mash up of all the most popular tracks from the year just passed. The clip and mash up have become one of our favourite ways to reflect on another year said and done and, with the 2012 edition having reached over 44 million YouTube hits, it’s safe to say we’re not alone in that statement!
After 180 hours of work, the 2013 edition has just been released and it is just as fabulous have we have come to expect. It features a total of 68 songs including headline-makers Harlem Shake, What Does The Fox Say, Blurred Lines, and Wrecking Ball.

Barbara Walters Most Fascinating People
Oprah had her favourite things, and Barbara Walters has her Most Fascinating People…
The television personality has been announcing her list of ten public figures she deems ‘most fascinating’ for the past 21 years, and now we have an early sneak-peek ahead of the December 18 broadcast.
If Walters list is anything to go by, this list as been an eclectic one indeed!
The list for this year is heavy on the celebrity names with the girl on fire Jennifer Lawrence, Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and, of course, Prince George all taking rank.
It is said this year’s list will be the last for Walters who, at 84 years of age, is retiring from TV journalism in 2014 so we’re sure she’ll be going to great lengths to ensure the special is more, well, special than ever!
Gotham Awards in New York City
Today a who’s who of indie film headed to New York City’s Cipriana Wall Street where the 23rd annual Gotham Independent Film Awards took place.
Ahead of the ceremony, the red carpet saw the likes of Amy Poehler, Brie Larson, Rashida Jones, Jared Leto, and Zosia Mamet glammed up and ready to celebrate independent film.
Brie Larson, the 24-year-old who played Toni Collette’s daughter in United States of Tara, was awarded the Best Actress award for her role in the highly-anticipated Short Term 12, beating out Hollywood heavyweights Cate Blanchett and Scarlett Johansson in the process, and Matthew McConaughey was awarded Best Actor for his work in Dallas Buyers Club.
The biggest winner of the night was the Coen brothers’ Cannes Grand Prix-winning Inside Llewyn Davis which stars Carey Mulligan and is set in 1960s New York folk scene.
