Rob Pattinson may not be appearing on the big screen in the Twilight films anymore but he’s about to do Team Edward one better and get his kit off for camera!
The star’s first Dior Homme commercial is set to premiere this May and, despite being advertising men’s clothing, rumour has it R-Patz will be appearing in the advertisements in various stages of undress, with a source describing the campaign as ‘sexually explicit’ and ‘pushing the boundaries of what you can get away with in advertising’.
Any Twihards out there will also be pleased to hear that Rob and on-off girlfriend Kristen Stewart seem to be back on track since Rob returned to LA after shooting The Rover here in Australia.
A source told HollywoodLife.com, “Kristen and Rob couldn’t be happier. They are getting along wonderfully and really enjoying each other’s company. Rob has been showering Kristen with affection.” It’s all coming up R-Patz!
After their disastrous attempt at hosting the Oscars, James Franco made no secret of his less than warm feelings about Anne Hathaway but since the pair have claimed to have made amends.
But, if James Franco’s latest radio interview is anything to go by, that is definitely not the case.
After Franco told radio host Howard Stern he was, “happy to revisit” the Hatha-Hate fest but that Stern was going to have to, “take the lead”, the host dished out a scathing attack calling Anne Hathaway, “so affected [and] actress-y that even when she wins an award she’s out of breath, and then has the standard joke that sounds like it’s written. And it all seems so scripted and acted.” He continued the hate-fest saying, “She comes off like the goody two-shoes actress and it’s just fun to sort of hate her.”
Franco replied, “I’m not an expert on – I guess they’re called Hathahaters’ – but I think that’s what maybe triggers it.”
Could this be the beginning of the Franco vs Hathaway show down part two? Only time will tell.
Although they’ve been in Australia for some time now, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were only officially welcomed in to the country last night with the black-tie gala help in Grand Hyatt in Melbourne.
The cocktail reception, which was hosted by Sonia Kruger, had an all-star guest list including Lisa Wilkinson, Magda Szubanski, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Cameron McGlinchey, Brynne Edelsten, and Rebecca Judd.
Betty DeGeneres, Ellen’s mother, accompanied Ellen everywhere she went on the trip including the black-tie event in Melbourne where she spoke the city’s praises.
Today, the star and her entourage including Mum and partner Portia are flying home but she could be back for good one day. At her packed-out Melbourne show she told audiences, “I shouldn’t put it out there but I can see us living here one day.”
