Unwind from the hustle and bustle of your daily lives and let go of your inhibitions as you rejuvenate your body & mind through music, movement and dance at The Future Sound of Yoga. We’ve discovered a secret wellbeing hideaway that will shake off the winter blues.
Tucked away in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs, this revolutionary and unique yoga class will take you on a journey combining traditional yoga poses and freeform dance, complemented by an inspiring soundtrack.
The live DJ (Matt) sets the tone with soft electronic beats. Your instructor for the evening is Angel, who guides you through each pose, which is left open for you to work with as the music gets progressively more powerful. The session then heats up with fifteen minutes of radical dancing, before winding down to gentle poses and meditation.
Angel and Matt work in harmony for two hours to create a sensory experience for people to freely express themselves through movement. The yoga will relax the body and the music energises the room, leaving you feeling completely revitalised.
Designed for music lovers and yoga people who find music inspiring, it is all about switching off your racing mind, connecting with the body and letting go. No previous yoga experience is necessary.
