If front-runner Jessica Jones’ elimination wasn’t enough to send your reality TV radar into overdrive, The Bachelor Australia’s Blake Garvey has revealed he is set to propose to the last single lady standing on Australia’s most addictive dating show.
Blake has hinted that he has found ‘the one’ and is poised to get down on in the show’s final episode of the show.
Remain contestants, Lisa, Sam and Louise will vie for a $58,000 Bunda ‘Valentin’ platinum diamond engagement ring featuring a 3.01ct Cushion Cut diamond.
The three remaining girls are one step closer after Blake told Jones in last night’s episode, “Ever since I’ve met you, I’ve had such strong feeling for you. I’ve never had that in my life Jess, but my head tells me that you’re not ready for the love that I’m looking for…”
Blake, the 31 year-old real estate agent and auctioneer from Perth said, “I want the woman who returns home from South Africa with me to be with me for the rest of my life, and that is something worth celebrating.”
“I want the ring that I’m designing to represent the journey that we have been on together”
“I feel like I’m close to deciding who I want to be with at the end of this.”
With wedding bells on the horizon, it’s hard to say whether the couple will be able to withstand a relationship after the tumultuous Bachelor ride; out of 18 seasons of The Bachelor US, just three couples remain together.
Last year’s Bachelor, Tim Robards and partner Anna Heinrich are still together, but haven’t head down the wedding aisle just yet.
Blake is intent on making it clear he’s in this for the long haul, and has said he won’t be getting too intimate while the show airs.
“A kiss is a big enough thing in this show, holding hands with someone is big,” Garvey said.
“Sex and all that stuff, eventually with the right person at the end of it. We will explore that when it comes to it but it’s not a priority.”
