It’s time to charge up our cocktail glasses, and get our girlfriends together for one last time. The cast of Sex and The City have announced they will not be doing any more movies. So, if you haven’t yet already, head out to see the final movie and get ready to bid a final farewell to our stylish women of New York.
You can’t blame the cast for retiring, especially after 12 fabulous years of making us laugh, cry and yearn over their stunning wardrobes. Whilst Sarah Jessica Parker stated ‘I hope Carrie will live on’, creator Michael Patrick King has realised it’s better to hang up those designer dresses now, rather than push on.
The second film has received mixed reviews across the media and fans, but regardless of our thoughts on the final film, we can’t deny the utter addiction, pleasure and love we have for the Sex and The City series- it hasn’t just been a TV show, it has been a worldly phenomenon for women everywhere. And for that, we will always be drinking Cosmo’s and wearing our stiletto’s in the name of the Sex and The City fabulous four.
