There’s only two episodes to go before Sam Frost can finally reveal the identity of her new beau. Since filming wrapped several months ago, the secret has been closely guarded with the importance of national security. Sam has dropped a few hints along the way but nothing could sway her to reveal the name of the man she refers to as ‘Roger’.

Eagle-eyed viewers have been keen to deduce that favourite Sasha is unlikely to be the one after Tourism New Zealand revealed on the final two head across the Tasman for the finale. Both Richie and Michael were seen in earlier trailers for the show in New Zealand- esque locations; Michael canoodling with Sam in a thermal hot spring and Richie hitting heavily powdered ski slopes.
Sasha has also been spotted hanging out around Sydney with Bachelorette alumni Dave and Davey. Given Sam’s dislike for Davey and frosty send-off, it’s a surprising friendship if Sasha was the last man left standing.
Adding fuel to the fire, Richie (sounds a bit like Roger, no?) made a trip to Phillip Island last week for the MotoGP, Sam was allegedly also in town visiting her family who live nearby on the Mornington Peninsula.

If you fell in love with Michael’s parents last week and hope Sam finds her happy ending with the handsome soccer player, the Bachelor has been spotted partying with Season Three Bachelor beauty Emily Simms, but this could be a throw off. Famed Bachelor-couple Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards strategically partied with other people in the lead up to the big reveal, the ploy even fooled their family and friends who thought they’d ended up alone.
The Front Runner: Richie

Pros –
He likes adrenaline sports as much as Sam and shares a similar sense of humour.
He gets quite awkward around the bronde beauty, endearing himself to her.
Both Sam and Richie said they could picture themselves growing old together after their Double Bay date when they dressed up as septuagenarians.
Cons –
Richie lives in Western Australia, (yes the same city as Blake Garvey) and can be away for weeks at a time due to his work as a Ropes Access Technician.
He’s a little bit awkward around Sam and stumbles his sentences when he’s usually otherwise quite articulate.
Things didn’t go too smoothly when Sam visited his folks. They thought she might be a Princess and viewers were not entirely convinced she would be readily accepted into his inner circle of friends.
The Outsider: Michael

Pros –
The serious and career driven Michael could certainly give Sam a great lifestyle in Brisbane. (Did you see the stunning view from his parent’s flat?)
His parents absolutely adored Sam and received her warmly into their home.
Sam is obviously attracted to him and compliments his humbleness and person-ability often.
The duo both have a passion for soccer.
Cons –
Michael can come across as mysteriously aloof and brooding.
Sam has indicated she looks for a sense of humour in guy and Michael hasn’t really let down a guard to his fun-side thus far.
Although Brisbane is not far from Sydney, would Sam be willing to relocate to the smaller city as Michael operates several local businesses.
The Favourite: Sasha

Pros –
The chemistry was electric from the moment the pair laid eyes on each other. Since their initial meeting Sam and ‘Sash’ have shared many romantic dates including a steamy dance lesson, and a painting afternoon where they couldn’t keep their hands off each other.
Sasha confessed he was falling for Sam during the hometown visits and even arranged a private serenade while they danced in the gardens. Clearly the guy knows a thing or two about romance.
Sasha is based in Sydney and is clearly in a comfortable place in this life where he’s ready to settle down and would be in the relationship for the long haul.
Cons –
Sasha isn’t a fan of adrenaline sports as much as Sam. He grimaced heavily when jumping off a cliff for the Bachelorette and is seeing sky-diving for love in an upcoming episode.
Perhaps he confessed his strong feelings a little too early for Sam and warded her off.
At the end of the hometown dates Sam said she felt a stronger connection with two blokes, and uncertainty about the other two. With financial consultant Alex now out of the picture, only time will tell who the other one was.
