As seen on model of the moment, Cara Delevigne a simple, chic military pony with obedient middle part was teamed with strong and eye-popping cat eye. A pale blueish silver pearlescent shadow was swept right over the eyelid and up and into the eyebrows, over this we love the dark black cat eye for some extra punch with uber dramatic lashes. A shiny pink lipgloss topped off the look and you can’t go wrong with a basic French mani.
In one of the most talked about beauty looks Pat Mgrath created a techno butterfly effect of the models eyelids and brow line at the Christian Dior show. Makeup artist Pat McGrath applied coloured Swarovski crystals all over the eyelids of 55 models for this show, leaving the rest of the face nearly naked.
As for the hair, creative consultant Guido Palau said “We did a low, shiny ponytail at Dior todayIt’s not frilly but it’s very strong, very utilitarian. The simplicity of the ponytail gives this stripped-back feeling that I was going for.”
At Balenciaga a barely there nude look was devinely fresh and accentuated the superb collection. Guido Palau said of the hair look: “The hair at Balenciaga is very natural, yet it’s smooth, not frizzy. I didn’t want to create big hair here today, but I still wanted it to feel very modern and rich. The style also fit with the metal hairpieces that Nicolas provided. We did a sort of rough, easy texture on the hair that offsets their beauty to a certain extent – they wouldn’t go with super luxe hair.”
If there’s one thing better then Lanvin, it’s Karlie Kloss in Lanvin. The stunning beauty sported a grungy, smokey eye with gently tussled hair. Guido Palau for Redken “At Lanvin today, the hair is back to very natural. It’s beautiful yet easy, with an emphasis on texture and tucked behind the ears. She’s a very cool girl, and the teasing we did gave her a little bit of attitude.”
For Issey Miyake, Eugene Souleiman for Wella Professionals created ‘Poetry in Motion’ – a finished hair look that was breaking free of restrictions, encompassing hard and soft textures with an ethereal femininity – referencing no doubt the unique fabric in the clothes.

Meanwhile it was deep purple at Haider Ackermann, another tale all together – a hair look titled ‘Catwalk Fusion’ – that was shiny, graphic and drastically immaculate. Taking inspiration from Japanese sumo wrestlers, Eugene formed precise, minimal buns that brought out the handsomeness in the clothes.
