The Beauty Bubble is all about indulging one of our guilty little pleasures: peeking into some of our favourite women’s beauty bags. These women are known for their glowing complexions, always impeccable makeup and kicking beauty goals no matter what the occasion! They have access to some of the very best makeup artists, stylists and beauty products around, so who better to ask for advice?
So far in the series, we have learnt one key thing from all our fabulous guests: keep it simple! All four of the lovely ladies we’ve interviewed below keep their look to a minimum, choosing to focus instead on enhancing their natural beauty with amazing skincare and healthy habits. Read (and watch) on for an exclusive look into the beauty bags of Kate Waterhouse, Samantha Wills, Michelle Walsh and Claire Fabb.
Kate Waterhouse
Our very first Beauty Bubble guest, Sydney Morning Herald fashion editor, blogger, trackside icon and racing heiress Kate Waterhouse cited important advice her mother Gai Waterhouse repeated from a young age: “My first memory would be skincare actually, my mum really drilled it into me.” Kate keeps it simple with her beauty looks, sticking to a staple routine of foundation, mascara and eyeliner. Her look is inspired by the simplicity of classic screen starlets like Audrey Hepburn and Sophia Loren. “I love beautiful fresh skin. I think that if you can start with a great base, you can work with that. So for me, I love Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.” Her number one beauty tip? Confidence: “Beauty is definitely confidence for me.”

Michelle Walsh
Model, actor, television presenter and blogger Michelle Walsh has done it all — while looking consistently amazing! Michelle is an expert in all things fashion, lifestyle, food and of course, beauty, so we asked her to spill the beans on her beauty routine. For Michelle protecting skin from the sun is a must, as is constant moisturising, “that’s the best anti-ageing advice my mum ever gave to me.” Rather than going for bold makeup products, Michelle sticks to the basics, preferring to enhance her natural beauty and focus in on one feature like a cat’s eye or red lip. Her beauty inspiration? Angelina Jolie of course — the stunning actress is well known for her easy-going makeup looks.

Samantha Wills
From Port Macquarie surfer girl, to internationally renowned jewellery designer, Samantha Wills has hit the big time. While her jewellery is making waves, so too is her natural beauty helping her hit headlines. The key to her luminous complexion? Water. “Water definitely is the cheapest and most effective beauty product,” she says. Similar to our other guests, Samantha has adopted a less is more approach to her routine, “you don’t want so much makeup caked on day to day.” A spritz of her favourite fragrance, Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle and a fresh, healthy complexion are Samantha’s key beauty secrets.
