Channel Nine has got us all talking today with the announcement of the next lineup of celebrity guests to star in the new series of Celebrity Apprentice.
Actor and radio host Sophie Monk, former bachelor Blake Garvey, and, for shock-factor no doubt, businessman Geoffrey Edelstein and his wife Gabi Gecko are amongst the Aussie lineup. Controversially, the line-up also includes radio DJ Mel Greig who was involved in the tragic ‘royal hoax’ prank call.
To round out the cast, Nine have recruited reality TV stars Gina Liano (Real Housewives of Melbourne) and Tim Dormer (Big Brother), Actress Esther Anderson, Miss Universe Australia Tegan Martin, NRL star Matt Cooper, TV presenter James Mathison and Hollywood gossip guru Richard Reid.
This mish-mash of celebs will be answering to financial adviser, founder of Wizard Home loans and now chairman of financial advice and planning company Yellow Brick Road, Mark Bouris, who is a Celebrity Apprentice alumni and will be at the head of the show.
Bouris’ advisers for the year are the wonderful Shelley Barrett, CEO and founder of ModelCo, and Kerri-Anne Kennerley, who’ll be making a return to the network for the first time in three years. These two will make a dynamic duo — as bold, intelligent and inspirational as they come.
Filming for the show is already underway, with the first day of shooting happening at Sydney’s Rockpool restaurant yesterday. The series will air on Nine in September.
