M.A.C Make Up Artist, Keira Hocking, gave us some tips on how to match your foundation with your skin tone.
- Make sure you’re taking all of your colour into account, don’t match to jaw, chest, or neck only. You want to look flawless from head to toe so make sure you take everything into consideration!
- Be honest about your colour, foundation will always look fake if you’re trying to create a colour as opposed to matching it. Don’t match fake tan if you don’t always wear it!!
- Try it on!! The best place to match the product is to swipe from the nose, across the cheek and down to jawline and blend out softly.
- Allow the foundation to dry once applied to the skin. The perfect shade should disappear into the skin once set, enhancing the skin and not masking it. This is why MatchMaster works so well, the translucent pigments allow to foundation to be the perfect finish for any skin tone.
- Ask the experts! M.A.C Artists are there to help and guide you in the right direction.
