Kardashian Christmas Card Shot By David LaChapelle
You certainly can’t accuse the Kardashians of doing their fashion by halves – their latest Christmas card is shot by none other than David LaChapelle.
If the name rings a bell, it’s because he’s one of the world’s top fashion photographers, famous for his hyper-sheen over-the-top style.
He once got into hot water for photographing Courtney Love as the Virgin Mary with a Kurt Cobain-esque model made up to look like Jesus – and then put the image on the front cover of his latest book.
Now the Kardashians have released his Christmas card, and while it’s not festive it’s certainly very bright.
All the ladies are dressed in black against a very dramatic, neon-tinged background reminiscent of a cheap arcade – LaChapelle’s pictures often have themes of consumerism and greed.
Tabloid magazines litter the floor, there’s graffiti on the walls, and broken gold mannequins lie around at the family’s feet.
LaChapelle is apparently one of Kanye West’s favourite photographers, and commentators have wondered whether the Kardashians know that most of his photography makes fun of the cheap, kitsch and reality-TV celebrities.
What do you think – odd joke or pretty card?

Poll Reveals Most Embarrassing Fashion Moments
A new poll has revealed what fashion faux pas women find most embarrassing.
Top of the list? Accidentally tucking your skirt into your underpants.
The poll, conducted by UK department store Debenhams, found that a whopping 26% percent of women thought that would be their most cringe-worthy moment.
Following close behind was the more common, and slightly unsanitary, trail of toilet paper – that familiar difficulty when a piece accidentally attaches to the bottom of one’s shoe.
Third? Discovering that something you thought was opaque is most definitely see-through, and has been seen through by your mates, your boss, the bartender and everybody else.
The rest of the top five were rounded out by wearing a top accidentally back to front and skirts blowing up in the wind – a faux pas the Queen famously avoids by putting weights in the hem of every skirt she owns.
The other cringe-worthy moments included VPL, forgetting to take off the price tag and accidentally putting on shoes that don’t match.

Fashionable Gifts For Dudes
No idea what to get the man in your life – father, brother, partner, son – who definitely has a fashionable streak?
Fear not – Rescu. has a list of deeply fashion-friendly ideas that will make any male wardrobe sing.
Any grown-up needs to have cufflinks. It’s just the rules of the sartorial game. And whether they’re elaborate skulls from Alexander McQueen, elegant mother-of-pearl bars from Montblanc or plain rose gold knots from Lanvin, they’re always a sign of impeccable taste.
For the man about town, a Mulberry travelling case is the best business trip accessory. The Matthew leather holdall is so beautiful you’ll be stealing it for yourself.
Or, for edgier dudes, a Givenchy painted backpack will add severe street style cred to the most achingly hipster ensemble.
If he’s a car person – or just wishes he were Cary Grant – a pair of driving gloves will be a gorgeously vintage fantasy. The classics are, of course, Alfred Dunhill dark leather ones with perforated backs. If he’s more daring, though, pull out a pair of Burberry leopard-print ones.
Vintage style is also all about the pocket square and the bow tie. Delve into Paul Smith’s range of retro paisleys and J. Crew’s prints of birds and beasts from the 60s – and make sure tie and square sets match.
A classic scarf can be made edgier depending on the print. Dolce & Gabanna’s timeless diamond-print light scarves are perfect for the older gent, while more outgoing men will love the strong patterns and styles of Etro and Gucci.
Sunglasses can be tricky buys, but for men it’s all about what they love. Into Top Gun? Get them Ray-Ban aviators. More fond of Indiana Jones? A pair of tortoise-shell LGR sunnies. Wants festival style? Tod’s thick-framed colourful glasses are the way forward.
Wallets are fantastic gifts – particularly because they cover all of the fashion spectrum. For the traditional taste, there’s a Gucci black embossed wallet, while less straight-laced men might like the colours of Bottega Veneta or McQueen.
Or check out Paperwallet, who make incredibly sturdy wallets from recycled paper in any design under the sun, from cartoon prints to amazing patterns. Perfect for the too-cool gent.
Then, of course, there’s the Aesop grooming set, the Mr Porter guide to a stylish life paperback, the Braun wristwatch and other stocking fillers.
