President Obama’s Nelson Mandela Tribute Speech
Yesterday some of the biggest names in the world, including politicians, the pope, royals, and leaders from over 90 countries, gathered at FNB stadium in Johannesburg to celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela.
Various dignitaries delivered heartfelt speeches to a huge and emotional crowd of people there to celebrate a life well lived, with many being moved to tears again and again.
US President Barack Obama was one such dignitary, whose speech has already become somewhat of a monumental piece. During the moving address, Obama said, “It is hard to eulogize any man — to capture in words not just the facts and the dates that make a life, but the essential truth of a person — their private joys and sorrows; the quiet moments and unique qualities that illuminate someone’s soul. How much harder to do so for a giant of history, who moved a nation toward justice, and in the process moved billions around the world.”
He continued, “It was precisely because he could admit to imperfection, because he could be so full of good humor, even mischief, despite the heavy burdens he carried, that we loved him so.”
The truly moving speech concluded, “What a great soul it was. We will miss him deeply. May God bless the memory of Nelson Mandela. May God bless the people of South Africa.”

Love Actually 2 Trailer
It’s the rom-com that rocks up on television every single Christmas and never ceases to disappoint. But what if Love Actually had a sequel?
Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately; sequels are always touch-and-go) it’s highly unlikely — the Director of the 2003 flick, Richard Curtis, recently told The Daily Beast a follow-up wasn’t on the agenda.
However, the people at Official Comedy have put together a trailer imagining what just that might look like, and it’s nothing short of hilarious.
The fake trailer uses clips from movies that each of the Love Actually stars have been involved in over the years to create a narrative that involves the father and son duo played by Liam Neeson and Thomas Sangster winding up in a violent fight, Kris Marshall’s character being in the middle of a pregnancy scare, and Billy Bob Thornton as the US President working as Santa Claus in a shopping centre.
Jennifer Hawkins Voted Sexiest Legs
First on many Aussie’s summer wish list is a perfect pair of pins, and when it comes to sourcing a little legspiration, celebrities are our number one go to.
According to a recent poll, the Aussie girl whose stems are most admired by women down under is none other than Jennifer Hawkins who scored 27% of the vote. The quintessential beach babe has Miranda Kerr, with 24% of the vote, right on her heels and Megan Gale rounds out the top three with 14%.
As for international inspiration, Cameron Diaz was cited as having Hollywood’s sexiest legs with 15% of the vote. Jennifer Aniston and Beyonce Knowles who tied with 14% of the vote each followed Cam closely.
When it comes to the songstresses with the most coveted pins, Katy Perry comes in at first place with a huge 29% of the vote, followed distantly by Rihanna with 12% and Nicole Scherzinger with 9%.
The results come from a poll conducted nationally to celebrate the launch of Venus & Olay SugarBerry razor.
