Style star Olivia Palermo touched down in Sydney to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Magnum ice cream.
Known for her impeccable style, the 28 year-old newly wed did not disappoint. She took to Magnum’s red carpet in a rose-embroiled midi dress by home-grown label Rachel Gilbert, teamed with with metallic Jimmy Choo heels and a show-stopping military jacket by Boda Skins.
The former The City star arrived in Sydney on the weekend and took in the spectacular sights on Sydney Harbour with husband, Johannes Heubl.
Palermo revealed that she and Johannes will organise another celebration for friends who didn’t attend their intimate June ceremony, “You know it was a nice, small quiet day for family and at some point we will do something a little bit bigger.” She also revealed to our Editor that her husband had already returned home despite the rumoured joint attendance on the Magnum dinner.
On keeping fit Palermo said, ‘I’m just really healthy. Johannes and I both eat really healthily and that’s something that comes from our families.”
Surprisingly the ultra-slim Palermo proclaimed, “I love carbs! I eat them all the time!” On her workout regime Palermo said, “I also try to work out when I can. I like Bikram yoga very much, I’ve done it since I was 18. Everything in moderation!’
Palermo, whose off-duty favourites include cashmere sweaters with tights, has recently collaborated with shoe designer Aquazzura for a line of luxe Italian shoes sold through Net-a-Porter. The Olivia Palermo x Aquazzura line are a shoe lover’s dream, the shoes made from premium materials, like soft leather and cashmere suede.
The dinner was attended by celebrities and fashionistas including Nikki Phillips, Marc Freeman of Camilla and Marc, and Laura Csortan.
